The board has not only released the 10th Compartment date sheet but also the class 12th datesheet for the compartment exams. But in somedays, the board will release it to help the students. Application Fee: Candidates who want to apply for the compartmental examinations must pay the application fee. The fee is as below:

  • Visit the official website i.e. cbse.nic.in.
  • Click on the Class 10th Compartment Application link.
  • Enter your particulars like school code, roll number, center number, address, subject in the login window.
  • Submit the entries and note down the Application Id which will appear on the screen.
  • Now upload your colored photograph and signature.
  • Further, click on the Fee Payment Option and pay the fees online.
  • Lastly, take out the printout of the confirmation page and sign it.
  • Submit the signed copy of confirmation page and the copy of mark sheet to “Regional Officer, CBSE Regional Office” within the 7 days.

The students who have got the result of March 2018 examinations as “Compartment” can apply for only one or two subjects for the compartment exams.

CBSE Class 10th Result 2018

This year around 16.24 lakh students appeared for class 10th exams. Out of which 14.08 lakh students passed. The overall pass percentage is 86.70 %. Like every year girls outshone boys by achieving 88.67%. While boys scored little less than girls as they scored 85.32%. The examination was conducted from March 5 to April 16, 2018. They held at 4,460 centers across the state as well as in foreign countries.

What after Class 10th 2018 Compartment Exams?

Students are confused about the study options for higher studies. Its high time for them to chose an appropriate stream.  They can apply for Arts, Science (Medical and Non- Medical) and Commerce.

  • Arts stream is basically concerned with social sciences where an individual will study Psychology, Political Science, history, Economics etc.
  • Commerce stream students study Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Maths, Statics etc. Students usually opt for this stream to get into business or management stream.
  • Science stream is concerned with life sciences and applied sciences. Its core subjects are Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths.

Whereas some schools also provide the vocational courses. They can also opt for sports and do various diploma courses. It is important to note that they should choose the stream in which they have interest. They should not opt for any stream due to any social pressure.
