In view of novel corona virus outbreak also know as COVID-19 through out the globe, has led to postponing of many exams in India. Many people have been identified to be infected with the virus and one the precautionalry measure to stop the spread of virus is ‘social distancing’. The government of almost every state has ordered closure of schools, colleges to prevent the spread of the virus.
Educational bodies like CBSE, CISCE, NIOS, etc have postponed the board exams till March 31, 2020. The revised date sheet for all the postponed exams will be released after the re-assessment of the situation.

CBSE Board
Central board of secondary education (CBSE) was one of the first boards to postpone the classes 10th and 12th baord exams. The board announced that all the ongoing board exams have been put on hold till March 31, 2020. Furthermore, the exams rescheduled for North-east Delhi students have been postponed again. The revised date sheet will be released at cbse.nic.in.

CISCE Board
Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) postponed its ongoing ICSE and ISC exams 2020. Earlier, there news that the board is not going to postpone any ongoing exam. However, this decision was backlashed by the students and parents due to corona virus fear. The ongoing class 10th exams were scheduled to end on March 30 whereas class 12th exam were to end on March 31.

NIOS Exams 2020?
After CBSE and CISCE, other board which decided to postponed the exams is NIOS. National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)?postponed its ongoing practical exams for secondary and senior secondary public courses from?March 19 to 31. The theory exams which were scheduled to start from March 24 to 31 has also be postponed.

On March 20, Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) released an official notice regarding postponing Classes 5th, 10th and 12th exams 2020. As per the official notice released, the exams have been put on hold from March 20 to 31, 2020. On the same day, the Board also released the revised date sheet for the postponed exams. RBSE Class 10th, 12th Exams 2020
Rajasthan Board postponed the Board examinations for this year due to the Coronavirus outbreak. It has pushed back exams for Class 5, 6, 10 and 12 for an indefinite period and the new dates will be announced soon. This year, a total of 20 lakh candidates are appearing for Class 10 and Class 12 examination, out of which, 11,79,830 students are appreaing for class 12th exam and 8,65,895 for class 10th.

Maharashtra SSC Exams 2020
The education minister of Mahrashtra Varsha Gaikwad has confirmed that the SSC exams have been postponed due to corona virus through out the country. The board is left with only one exam, i.e of Grography which was to be held on March 23, however, it has now been put on hold to. Revised exam date will be announced after March 31.
Further, Maharashtra govt also announced that all school exam have been cancelled in state government schools for class 1 to class 8 and exams for classes 9 and 11 have been postponed.
West Bengal Board Exams 2020
West Bengal State Government has decided like other states to postpone all the public examinations scheduled in the state. The board has decided to postpone the WB Board Exams 2020 till April 27. The decision has been taken to contain the spread of Coronavirus or COVIS19 in the state as so far, two cases have been confirmed from West Bengal.
Kerala SSLC, Plus 2 Exams 2020
The ongoing Kerala SSLC?and plus two exams have been put on hold due to in view of coronavirus outbreak in India. Kerala SSLC exam which was scheduled to be conducted from March 10 to 26 has been postponed. Only three (03) papers were left which were Mathematical Science (March 23), Physics (March 24) and Chemistry (March 26). Furthermor, Kerala +2 exam was also scheduled to end on March 26 and has now been postponed.
Haryana Board 2020
The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has decided to postpone the remaining board exams in the state for class 10th and 12th. The new schedule for these will be announced soon by the Board.
Madhya Pradesh Board 10th, 12th Exam 2020
In view of emerging coronavirus outbreak, the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has decided to postpone class 10th and 12th exams. As per newspaper reports, over 19 lakh students had registered for the MPBSE board examinations. The board will release the new date sheet for the postponed exams after re-assessment of the situation.

When Board Exams 2020 Revised Datesheet will release?
Now, that the whole country is in 21 days lockdown stage due to coronavirus pandemic, many students are wondering when will the revised dates will be announced.
As per the latest newspaper reports, the HRD ministry has directed CBSE to start working on revised schedules for examinations following the extension of nationwide lockdown.
