Bihar School Examination Board came into existence as a statutory board under the State Education Department. It was established under section 3 of the Bihar School Examination Act – 1952. It functions under the Government of Bihar. It is well known as BSEB. Its headquarter is situated in Patna, India. The Bihar Board is having a staff of over 700 employees. The Chairman of BSEB is Anan Kishore, IAS and the Secretory name is Anup Kumar Sinha. The official language of the board is Hindi and English.
Bihar School Examination Board
The board is responsible to conduct the exams for Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) candidates. It serves the private and government schools belonging to the state of Bihar. The Government of Bihar prescribes the syllabus for those schools. Other than the secondary and senior secondary level, the BSEB also manages various departmental examinations. These exams are the Diploma in Physical Education, Simultaltala Residential Entrance Examinations, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) for Bihar state, Examination for Diploma in Elementary Education etc.
Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examinations
The organization named Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examinations is an autonomous firm which provides the education in Bihar state. The board is popularly known as BBOSE. BBOSE was established in the month of February 2019. It is is a registered Govt. Society under Societies Act. BBOSE offers open and distant learning to the students who are unable to obtain the regular education. It came into existence on the lines of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. The motto of the board is “Reach the Unreached”. The board provides its own content to the students in terms of syllabus, books, etc.
Bihar Board Class 10 and 12 Time Table
Bihar Board releases the time table for class 10 as well as for class 12. Candidates can download the Bihar Board Time Table from the official website. For both classes, the BSEB issues the time table in the month of November.
BBOSE conducts the board exams twice a year. So, it releases the time table two times a year. First, it gets released for the June session exams and second for the December session. Candidates obtain the link of the time table of its official website.
The time table contains all the important information about the exams such as the exam date, exam days, timings for the exams, subjects code, subject name etc. So, it is very important for the students to download it. With the help of the time table, the students can also do the preparations.
Bihar Board Class 10 and 12 Admit Card
Admit Card is one of the important documents for the students who are going to appear for the board exams. Candidates must have the admit card at the exam centre. before entering the exam hall, the invigilator checks whether the student is having the admit card or not. If the student has the admit card then he/ she can appear for the exams. Otherwise, they cannot enroll in the board exams.
The candidates can download the admit card from the official website of Bihar Board. To download it, they can submit the required credentials such as the class name/ candidate’s name/ date of birth/ registration number etc.
For the separate exam (for regular and open school students), the board releases the separate admit card. It only has the information for that particular exam. So, before going for the exam, the students should have the admit card.
Bihar Board Class 10 and 12 Result
Once, the exams finish, the board declares its result. The Bihar Board announces its result on its official website. Candidates get the result for regular board class 10 and 12 in the month of June. To check the result, the students should submit the credentials such as the roll number/ roll code or candidate’s name.
As you know BBOSE conducts the exams twice a year. so, the candidates also obtain the result twice. For June exams, the boar announces the result in the month of September. For the December session, it declares the result in February. The process to search for the result is the same for June and December results. In order to get the BBOSE result, the candidates need to submit the class name, roll number, and enrollment number. The result contains the board’s name, candidates’ name, roll number, enrollment number, registration number, subject details, marks details etc.
