New Important Changes Made By Bihar Board 2022

For the Intermediate or class 12 board exam 2022, BSEB has made the following changes this year –

• Bihar Board has amended the exam pattern for both class 12th. As per the new bseb pattern announced by the Bihar Board, now every subject will have 50% objective type questions while 50% will be subjective or theory based questions, i.e., short and long answer type questions.
• As per the new BSEB exam pattern, Bihar board class 12th exam consist of 50% multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each. There will be only 35 MCQs in the theory paper of subjects having both theory and practical, The total exam duration is 3 hours 15 minutes.
• As per the revised marking scheme released, if a student fails in the compulsory subject in Bihar Board Exam 2022, the marks obtained in the additional subject will be considered instead. The newly introduced change will enable the students to appear in the exam to get the total passing marks.
• From this year onwards students will have to choose Hindi or English in Paper 1 which will be 100 marks and in Paper 2 they can choose any one of the 12 languages ​​given as an option. But, they will not be allowed to choose the same subject in both papers. Both the language papers will be of 100 marks each.

• Theory paper, objective type questions, or MCQs of each subject will now carry 50 percent marks. The question paper of 100 marks will have 60 MCQs, students will have to answer only 50 of them. The question paper of 70 marks will have 42 MCQs, students will have to answer only 35. Whereas 25 out of 30 MCQs will have to be answered in the question paper of 50 marks.
• 8 and 6 long answer questions of 5 marks each will be asked in the question paper of 100 marks and 70 marks respectively. The students have to answer only 5 and 3 long answer questions out of 8 and 6.
• The number of questions of 2 marks has been increased. In a theory paper of 70 marks, 18 questions of two marks will be asked. You have to answer only 10 of them. The question paper of 100 marks will have 25 short answer questions, students will have to answer 15 only.
• Questions of more than 5 marks will be asked in the language papers like Hindi, English etc.
