The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released an official notice clarifying various fake reports which have been circulating on WhatsApp and social media. As per these fake circulars, that the remaining papers have been cancelled due to COVID-19, revised dates have been announced, result will be prepared based on students performance in 6 subjects.
To all these fake claims, the Council has released an official notice in which it has discarded that all these claims are false and hold no ground. It denied any such fact published and said that no member of the Council has stated as such.

On April 01, 2020, CISCE released an official notice at cisce.org for the false information which has been circulating on the social media platforms. It is advised to the students to not to pay attention to any of these rumors. Always check the official website first.
#Fake News 1. ICSE & ISC Exam 2020 Remaining Papers Cancelled
A notice has been circulating on WhatsApp and social media platforms that the CISCE has decided to cancel all the remaining papers due to the coronavirus pandemic. This is completely untrue. CISCE has postponed and not cancelled any of the remaining papers. The revised dates will be notified after April 14, 2020, once the situation gets better.
#Fake News 2. Revised ICSE Exam 2020 has been released
A fake press release has been circulating in which the revised exam dates for ICSE 2020 has been released. As per this fake press release, the postponed exam will be held from April 16 to 22, 2020. However, this is also not true. The revised exam dates have not yet been announced by the officials. Further, students should note that ICSE 2020 revised exam date will be released on the official website only.
#Fake News 3. ICSE and ISC 2020 Result will be Declared Based on 6 Subjects
Another fake news which has been doing the rounds on the social media platform is that the result of ICSE and ISC exam 2020 will be declared based on the 6 subjects in which the students appeared for. This is totally false and no CISCE official has stated such.
#Fake News 4. Notice Pertaining to ISC English Paper-I
As per the fake notice, CISCE has introduced a slight change in ISC English paper-I. The council has introduced a new form of writing in the form of proposal writing which is completely false. No such change has been imposed by the Council.
